Kashmir was a real much-sought-after Shangri la, easily passing to be the heaven on earth, I felt!

As I looked at the valley while entering into it up from the mountains around, I was simply left awe-stricken! I could never have imagined there could ever be such a beautiful place on earth, had I not been there witnessing it right in front of my eyes.

The valley was like a dish protruded up on its edges by the mountains that surrounded it. And through the valley that was dotted with so many awe-inspiring lakes and gardens inside it, ran the beautiful river Jhelum, a tributary of the Chenab River from the bank of which in the Lahaul valley I had just moved on to this one.

The only difference was that I was now alone, exactly like I was when I had entered the Kullu valley pitching my tent in Manali on the banks of the river Manalsu where Eva had come to pitch hers along with mine.

What had this new valley got in store for me to play the game of life, I just didn't know and moved down into the heaven that it was!
