Human List of Qualities alias List of Human Qualities

"I need changing my list of qualities, I suppose." - said Eva.

"Call them a list of human qualities... and that too not very humane!" - I was peeping into her mind through her eyes.

"What do you mean?" - asked she.

"Whenever we search for quality in a thing, we do so with a human perspective. Human list of qualities is in fact a list of human qualities. What a thing does to us is more important to us than what it does to itself. Isn't it?" - I put my point forward.

"Like..." - she was trying to get what I was up to.

"Like rotten food! We call it poor quality but it has its own quality for its own self that nature has imparted to it through getting rotten." - I wasn't sure if she would be getting what I was trying to say.

"Interesting!" - she looked at my face in an awe - "I had never looked at it from this angle."

Quality

"We humans are too busy imposing our subjectively conditioned quality on to the things that are as independent members of the global community as we are. They have an equal right to go their way, at times producing stinking air that we so much abhor as poor quality environment only because our noses don't find it pleasant. We humans think that we own the world and nothing else or no other species does. We don't play the game of life, we fight a war on earth in order to come out a winner every time at any cost and try to mold every damn thing to our comfort only. We make zoos and keep animals in them or else drive them away; and then we cut all the jungles and construct 'quality' concrete jungles in their place... we just don't like any disturbance of nature in our comfortable quality life. By that token we would be calling Japan and California poor quality lands too as they are so earthquake prone and we don't like earthquakes at all! It's not only you, it's the whole humanity that needs giving some quality tonic to its brain through differentiating between a list of human qualities and an objective list of qualities on this planet. Aren't these our likings only that we have given such a prestigious name as qua..." - I couldn't complete my sentence as my lips had been sealed by hers by now, may be to shut my mouth from going on speaking non-stop!
