"I doubt everything that is part of world culture, so I took a world map and set out on a world travel hoping to find a Shangri-La somewhere, where people really live their life and not run over it. You know I have so many of those maps with me in my rucksack and I keep scanning them for the hypothetical land I have been traveling in a futile search of." - Eva' eyes had gone dreamy.

Antique World Map
"Why are you searching if the search, as you know, is futile; and what are you searching for if it is not there at all?" - I raised my objection.
"People have been searching for God since times immemorial even though they know that the search is not going to take them anywhere. Why do THEY do so?" - she challenged my objection.
"They are living in illusions." - said I.

Eva's Dream Shangri-La: Her Imaginary World Culture
"I am living in a delusion... just to play the game of life a little stupid!" - she smiled naughtily - "Every new place I go to as I travel, I assume to be the place of my dreams. Then I live through it loving it as much as I can until its culture disillusions me. I get a new shock every time my dream shatters and I take out it's map to cross the place in red before moving off to another."

Eva's Red Crosses through Her World Travel
She took out all big and small maps of the world's different places and started showing me the red crosses she had marked on them.
