Christmas lights were the first thing in Christmas decorations that Jean decorated his Christmas tree with.
An Entire Spectrum of Lights
Lights imparted a new shine to the tree making it a colorful affair altogether!
He used faceted glass bulbs for the purpose as they reflected a bright light through them. He also used color lights in between pairing them with reflective Christmas ornaments.
He would just string the lights around the trunk, bring the strings to the branches and then take them back to the trunk so that the shine would appear inside as much as it was out. It imparted a three dimensional depth to the whole aura that the tree would appear to have.
Festive Christmas
His mix and match aesthetics were very childlike as far as the colors of the lights were concerned. It gave a fun and festive mood to the celebrations that Christmas was meant to be.
Jean had a real childlike interest, curiosity and simplicity in him.
He would give a white light effect to the trunk and then selectively cover it with the colorful lights on the branches.
He always started at the base of the tree first and made his way up interspersing lights between the trunk and the branches.
The Final Effect
The final result of what he did would always be striking not only to the eye but also to the spirit of the culture inside.
