In both we need fighting the pull that makes fall - in the former, football; in the latter, energy.

The two forces pull down the matter - inanimate or biological - as well as energy.

Inanimate matter loses its potential energy when pulled down to hit the ground where it keeps lying in its energy-less state.

Biological matter, i.e., the musculature loses its life energy through losing its resilience and falls down into energy-less state of rigid contraction limiting its own free movement through space.

If our muscles are not forced to remain contracted in a low energy state, they can work as much as 10 times more than we work with them now.

I have seen it in my life on many more than one occasion when the person/s concerned just accidentally came out of their muscular stupor for a short duration and performed feats, which even they themselves would never even have dreamed of doing.

I have not only seen it in others, I myself have gone through it on many, many more than one occasions.

And not only football, I have it for all the games and sports on earth including sex games as well.

May be it starts a process of change in the way we humans play the game of life to interact with one another whether in love or in war!

I present my design here before I catch up again with the incredible sex game that Eva and I had started playing with each other and were in the thick of it right now.

Both have something common in them which I shall be describing later once we are over with both, the football and the sex.

New football rules in a new football field with new football scores and a new fantasy football!

The new design goes like this:

Let's mix both the football teams and merge them into one comprising 22 players instead of 11. The match will no more be Spain versus Argentina but be named as Spain and Argentina versus... weight till we go through the full design of the game!

Let there be one goal only, it being the entire football ground.

Let our team play against gravity and not against each other as two violent teams filled with the spirit of war.

Kick the ball as low in the sky as possible, as well as, as far in the distance as you can.

The vertical height (ideally minimum) as well as the horizontal span (ideally maximum) of every single kick is to be tracked and rated by a computer adding it to the overall performance of the team.

The target of the game is to stop gravity from making a single goal against the team. Once the football is up in the air, it should not touch the ground again during the entire 90-minute span of the game...

...A real difficult task to achieve - much more difficult than the game of football is right now!

We no more need competing against one another of the same species. We very urgently need cooperating now without competing with anything animate.

We are only going to fight against something that limits our overall performance and energy on this planet, i.e., the gravity in the case of this new design.

It is going to be real sportsman spirit competing with the limiting force of gravity under the toughest challenging maneuver with it (minimum height and maximum span!) in a symbolic attempt to go beyond and surpass this binding force on earth to fly free in the sky!

No goal is the target of the game that declares the team a winner against our own limitations succumbing to gravity every time we are out to do something really challenging in life.

The performance level of the team will be decided by the average vertical height (minimum desired) and the average horizontal span (maximum desired) of the football kicks during the entire time span.

The goal of the game is to win at the most difficult performance level against the limiting force of gravity on earth!

And if we could design the mighty football, why wouldn't we be able to do the rest of them all?

The same is true of the the game of sex too. The way we play it is like fighting a war against each other trying to prove our supremacy over the other.

They are not the games of sex; they are the wars of sex at the level of ego satisfaction... especially the male ego that feels coming out a winner if it could prolong its COMING until the female CAME too.

And the male ego generally loses the war!

Sex is the biggest game on earth that everyone wants to play and WIN!

Same with all the sports around the world including football! They have nothing to do with the sportsman spirit of which they keep vouching all the time.

They are mini-wars fought not at the battleground but at the sports ground, like sex that we have made into a war of which the bed is a 6x6 sports ground.

So when I met a tough trekker named Tribhuvan planning to fun-climb one of the mountain peaks surrounding Rohtang Pass, I volunteered to accompany him along, which he happily agreed to.

I already had a good pair of mountaineering boots and an ice axe with me in my camping gear. The ropes, the quick draws and the crampons - the exclusive mountaineering equipment - were all there with him in case we needed them while climbing the peak.

The Most Basic Mountaineering Equipment

It was not a challenge-climb in the strict terminology of the sport but it was sure a test-climb for our tough-trek capacities.

Rohtang Pass is a depression in the middle of many high mountain peaks around, some of them really tough to climb.

Tribhuvan chose a middle order peak on the scale of toughness and we started on our personal campaign in the early morning hours.

The real challenge of climbing comes when the slope goes steeper. Quite up to a fair distance our ice axes and the tough soles of our mountaineering boots - parts of my camping gear as well - were enough to keep carrying us forward but at one real steep slope my spirits just gave in to it.

But Tribhuvan who had managed to cross the slope up by now wouldn't let me give up so easily. The rope he had and his quick draws came handy at that slope for me offering to me the most basic taste and the most basic skills I got and learned in my climb over the peak, which if not a challenge wasn't even a child's play that everyone could have done without training.

I never had any training in mountaineering... but then I never had any training in skiing as well.

And I did both fairly well... just to play the game of life well!

As I stepped on to the top of the peak, I held both Tribhuvan's hands thanking him for having given me a guided opportunity to taste and learn the basic skills of mountaineering in such an easy and natural way.

Standing over the top of the peak, I was feeling like standing on the top of the world!

It had a few of those rare ski slopes where you could ski even in summers and weren't left waiting for winters to come when you would go there and ski.

You could anytime do it here on the slopes over the top of the Rohtang Pass, at Marhi on its way and the best of all at Rani Nallah where the slopes were a bit steeper expecting you to be a little experienced in it.

Gulmarg

Of course the slopes of Gulmarg in Kashmir are undoubtedly the best being as wide as they are long between Khilanmarg and Gulmarg but then you have to wait for the winter months to be able to ski there.

Auli

Auli is another gem of a slope though not as wide as Gulmarg but the length is fantastic.

There are hundreds of other yet untapped slopes in the Himalayas where you could test your mettle in any season you go.

It's because the Himalayas have many beautiful places with good slopes for skiing that fall in the perennial snow line, meaning thereby that they have snow on them all the year long.

I took my first lessons on the top of Rohtang Pass where I experienced the physics of the ski boards when in motion.

Soon I mastered it and came down on the steeper slopes of Marhi.

I remember I left myself free (though not lax) on one of the slopes and let myself go as I myself went along.

This was what the psychology of skiing was, telling how to play the game of life along with the sport that it was, and I was doing it like a pro!

Beautiful Bivy!

I still have my plans to go camping and traveling the world on foot... just to play the game of life further!

What a bivy has better than a tent is not only that it is lighter in weight on your shoulders but also - and this is more important - that it doesn't require time to pitch it and peg it in the ground, or very minor of it if at all.

You just put it on the ground and sleep in it inside your sleeping bag.

You would go sleepless the whole night if it weren't there to cover you well!

One day as I was preparing to go inside my tent for my night sleep, Manjit - one of my two search spies - came to me and told that he had been kicked out of the hotel he was working in. Now he had no place to go to in order to spend his night so I offered him my tent, it being a two men tent with a lot of space inside for two people to sleep comfortably.

But I didn't have any spare bedding for him, so what I did was offer my sleeping bag to him and lie down the other side covering myself with a sheet.

The 4 or 5 hours that I spent in that cold night without a warm bedding to sleep in became a lifetime experience for me since I couldn't even doze for a single minute owing to the biting cold that wouldn't even let me stretch my body full what to say of sleeping sound!

Sleepless

But once I had offered him my bag, I wouldn't relish asking him coming out of it.

Still I automatically took a decision in my mind that I would share everything out of my camping gear but for my down sleeping bag again in future.

The way we start to play the game of life selfish!

I think that is how humanity must have started stepping on to the path of turning selfish slowly and gradually.

But I don't expect everyone to be like me who could enjoy his sprouts as much as he enjoyed the best cuisine in the best restaurant of the world.

Time to Cook!

I was just there to play the game of life experimenting how cheap I could make my budget travel on foot.

It was rather a fun sport than a real travel with a destination.

I had no real destination in front of me!

And I got my taste buds excited not by the cuisine but by acute hunger that I have always been lucky to have as an organic part of my somehow superior digestive system.

And when it really came to cooking something for some reason or the other, I always had the approach to creating a stove with the help of all the natural things around.

Like after pitching the tent at the most beautiful location (really!) of Manali, we three decided to make tea and enjoy drinking it sitting on the bank of the river.

Immediately one of those two search spies was sent to get some tea leaves, sugar and milk from the market that was around a kilometer from there.

The two of us picked up three big stones and placed them perpendicular to one another making three sides of a stone square leaving the fourth blank.

Then we moved inside the jungle to pick up small sticks of wood that fell from the trees around on their own owing to the winds that swayed them fast.

It was a deodar - a large Himalayan cedar - jungle and the quality of the wood sticks was extraordinarily good. This tree is native to the Himalaya Mountains with drooping branches and dark bluish-green leaves. It often has white, light green, or yellow new growth in cultivars. Looks-wise it is as beautiful as a maple tree is.

After we had picked up enough stock of sticks in both the hands of each of us, we moved back to our tent and placed the sticks in our ingenious stove from the blank side of the square that it was.

By that time the third member of our team was also back with all the supplies intact in his hands.

Cooking Food on Fire

We lit the pile of sticks in our innovative camping stove with a matchstick and placed a vessel - a part of my most basic camping gear to carry - on the square of the stones.

Ready!

And voila! Tea was ready within minutes!

We extinguished the fire in our stove so that we would be able to use the same wood sticks again.

But mind it, I am not suggesting you to follow my example. If you are fond of a mouth-watering, delicious meal in your camp, you can always go for a good quality camping stove as part of your camping gear. May be you are not able to get stones, or wood sticks or even time to arrange either of them at your disposal!

But you need to be a real search spy in order to unearth them out of nowhere on earth!

A Beautiful Campsite

I was a stranger to Manali as I had landed there for the first time in my life.

And the town was a much sought after hamlet by the nature-loving tourists.

Might be it wasn't as easy here to find a good site as elsewhere it had been.

I asked the teashop owner in whose shop I was sitting sipping my first cup of tea in Manali.

He suggested me to go to Vashisht Bath - where tourists went to take a sulphur bath in the natural hot springs springing from below the earth - and pitch my tent there.

As I reached Vashisht Bath, I found it to be an awfully commercialized place as far as pitching my tent was concerned.

I asked for it and the price quoted to me was 10 rupees per day.

I thought I would pitch it there for one day or two and keep searching for a better place somewhere else. Hardly had I started pitching it when two young men came out of nowhere and said I shouldn't be pitching it there.

"Why?" - I asked.

"We will show you a much better place and that too free of charge!" - they were very enthusiastic about taking me there and showing me the place.

My search spy team out in the search of free campsites!

We went to the other bank of river Beas and moved along its tributary river named Manalsu. One side of it was the old Manali or what you could call Manali village. The other side was a protected jungle that ran a kilometer or two along it.

At the end of the jungle there was an open space that gave a very homely and spacious look to the place. The two stopped over there indicating with there fingers the obviously best place to pitch my tent on a high platform just on the bank of the river.

The place on the edge of the jungle was no doubt a beautiful one and I felt like thanking my search spy team for the guidance they had provided to me. But they didn't let me do that. On the top of it they didn't even let me pitch my tent myself and did all the work for me with such fondness that I couldn't comprehend as to why after all they were doing what all they were up to.

But let be what is! Might be it was their way to play the game of life!

Heaven on Earth!

After the tent was pitched, the newly developed campsite looked no less than all the free campsites I had ever pitched my tent at. In fact it looked like a camping heaven where I could spend even my full life!

I had intentionally kept it to a bare minimum in order to play the game of life light during my travel. The total weight of all my stuff was not more than 15 kg, which I easily carried on my shoulders without feeling any fatigue or inconvenience even if it was there for the whole day on them.

My sleeping bag was a real good piece filled with down and so warm that I could even lay it on snow and sleep all the night inside! I could even walk in it as it had two legs and two arms attached to it!

And now when I had reached Manali, I was to search for a good camping place to pitch my tent making it a home to me for an indefinite period of time.
